Big moves are brewing at DKCU, and this one’s powered by caffeine and a passion for community.
We’re thrilled to welcome Rich Calligan to the DKCU volunteer staff as our new Secretary of the Board! A seasoned operations manager by day, Rich brings a sharp eye for detail, a warm heart, and a dedication to impact that fits right into the Annies ethos.
When he’s not managing logistics or helping DKCU run smoother than a well-oiled popcorn machine, you might find Rich buying coffee online (no shame in a bulk caffeine purchase) or reminiscing about his Frank Thomas White Sox poster phase.
Dreamed of skydiving as a kid? So did Rich. Didn’t happen, but joining a fast-paced, fun-loving club like DKCU might be the next best thing.
He backs Chicago Fire (we’ll allow it) and says the health and happiness of his children will matter most when he’s 80—which, frankly, makes us like him even more.
His favorite guilty pleasure movie? The Core. (We’re not judging, but we may ask him to justify that choice at halftime.)
Rich is most looking forward to getting to know the crew and making an impact this season. And we can already tell—he’s going to do just that.
