Honoring the Legends Who Built the Beautiful Game Locally
There is a lot of passion for soccer in DeKalb County. The sport - for all ages - has been built on the dedication and devotion of many and we felt it was time to start honoring these individuals for their work, commitment, and leadership to the sport.
We're pleased to sponsor the DeKalb County Soccer Hall Of Fame Awards, an annual award hosted by the Board of Directors of DeKalb County United and nominated by you - the soccer fans of our community. With so many who have devoted countless hours to building up local programs, clubs, and school teams, it seemed time to honor the legacies of community-driven leaders through soccer in DeKalb County. This award will help continue to grow the passion for local soccer and inspire our younger generations to be leaders through sport.
This is not about one club or one era.
It’s about all of us — from youth leagues to college programs, adult rec teams to high school dynasties, tournament organizers to weekend volunteers.
Each year, we recognize a new class of inductees whose contributions have shaped soccer across DeKalb County and inspired generations to come.
