Naperville native and Loras College standout Nolan Ewanic joins DeKalb County United for 2026. A high-energy winger and outside back ready to impact the Annies' attack.

Nolan arrives in DeKalb with a reputation for high-energy play, capable of stretching the field as a winger or providing defensive stability and overlapping runs as an outside back. His journey to the NIU Soccer Stadium was sparked by a recommendation from his long-time teammate, Connor, and an invitation from Jeff, a testament to the tight-knit community that defines DKCU.

"I first heard about DKCU from one of my close buddies, Connor," Nolan shared. "After seeing how he enjoyed it and improved from it, I was excited when his Dad, Jeff, invited me to come play."

A former high school standout whose clutch performances have already made headlines in the Chicagoland area, Nolan credits his first coach, Eddie, for pushing him to become the player he is today. Whether he’s hunting for his next big varsity-style goal or tracking back to defend, Nolan is a "never-say-die" competitor.

"Fans can expect a whole lot of running and celebrating after goals from me this summer!"

Off the pitch, Nolan is a massive Manchester United supporter and a huge country music fan, so don't be surprised if his headphones are blasting Nashville’s finest before every match. When he isn't on the soccer field, you can find him at the golf range trying to lower his handicap or enjoying a bonfire with friends and family.

Fueled by plenty of guacamole and avocados, Nolan is ready to fly down the wing for the Annies this summer.

Welcome to the United, Nolan!
