Big moves are happening in DeKalb County, and we’re not talking about tractors.

We’re thrilled to welcome Muazu Sagir to the DKCU Men's First Team for the 2025 season. The 22-year-old forward from Covington joins us from Longwood University, bringing serious pace, skill, and ambition to The Annies attack.
Known to friends and teammates as Mo, he’s got that classic striker swagger, backed by talent and tenacity. Mo is here because he believes in the team environment, the personalities in the locker room, and let’s be honest—because scoring goals at the NIU Soccer Complex just hits different.
Off the pitch, he’s got his eyes set on going pro, staying healthy, and partying big (Pepsi in hand). As a kid, he dreamed of representing his national team. At 80, he hopes to be enjoying whatever life’s still left in the tank. Honestly? Same.
With friends already on the squad and an ambitious mindset driving him forward, we expect big things from Mo for the rest of this summer. Goals? Assists? Signature celebrations? Yes please.
The cornfield is calling, and Mo has answered.
