Board Silly: Welcoming Melissa Beck to the DKCU Brainstrust

DeKalb County United is powered by community, passion, and the kinds of people who bring their full selves to the table—cloth napkins and all. That’s why we’re absolutely thrilled to have Melissa Beck on our Board of Directors.

Melissa is a physical therapist at Northern Rehab, and brings brains, heart, and a mean collage game to the squad. She’s no stranger to the pitch—she played college soccer before an ACL injury sidelined her senior season. But don’t worry: she’s still in the game, now cheering us on from the sidelines (and probably regulating your posture while she’s at it).

Melissa’s passion for the game runs deep—from watching the USA women’s team dominate to cheering on local clubs with her family. Whether she’s hyping us up, helping with community outreach, or just making sure we all stand up straighter, she’s the kind of person who makes DKCU feel like home.
