Max Sudor joins DeKalb County United, bringing Eastern Illinois experience, Barcelona vision, and composed midfield brilliance to the pitch this summer.

An Eastern Illinois recruit from Bloomingdale, Sudor is the kind of composed, intelligent midfielder who makes everyone around him better. He plays with the vision of Barcelona and the work rate of Manchester City, always looking to create, control, and dictate the tempo.

What drew him to DKCU? The combination of an amazing fan base and the professionalism within the club. Max knows a good thing when he sees it, and he's ready to be part of something special.

Off the pitch, you might be surprised to find out he's just a chill guy who loves being outside. A perfect summer evening means pickleball with friends, soaking up the sun, and enjoying life away from soccer. His father remains his biggest influence, the person who taught him the importance of consistently working hard to become a better version of yourself. Right now, Max is working on his pool game, watching YouTube tutorials and putting in the reps, the same way he approaches everything else. Winning GA Cup Qualifiers in 2024 remains a moment he'll never forget.
