Known to many in the local soccer community as "Matty," Tuszynski is a household name for DeKalb County soccer fans. A former DeKalb County Player of the Year, Matthew’s technical ability and vision in the center of the park have made him a standout since his high school days. Now competing at the collegiate level for Ripon College, he returns home to sharpen his game for the upcoming fall season.

For Matthew, the decision to wear the green and yellow was all about the quality of the competition. "I chose DKCU to be able to compete at a high level and prepare for my school season," Matthew shared. His presence in the midfield brings a high soccer IQ and a deep-rooted passion for the community he represents.

As a lifelong Arsenal supporter, Matthew understands the importance of fluid, creative play. United fans can expect a composed presence on the ball and a player who isn't afraid to dictate the tempo of the match. Having grown up playing on these very fields, his journey from local standout to collegiate athlete to DKCU signing is a perfect example of the talent pipeline in DeKalb County.

Welcome home, Matty!
