MT Returns: MaryTherese Harrison Re-Signs with the Annies

DeKalb County United is thrilled to announce that MaryTherese Harrison, better known to fans as "MT",is returning to the squad for the 2026 season.

A Rockford native and key contributor at North Central College, MT has proven herself as a vital, versatile presence on the pitch, capable of commanding the midfield or locking down the backline.

After an impactful debut year, MT knew exactly where she wanted to be this summer. "I joined DKCU because of their high competition level," she noted. "I believe playing for DKCU will help sharpen my skills for the fall season. I also love the community here, and a good community is very important to me."

"My parents have had the biggest influence on me as a person," MaryTherese shared. "They are both hardworking, smart, and loving, and they’ve passed those traits onto me. They've helped me grow into the person I am today."

That drive for growth extends beyond the white lines; MT is currently focused on developing her leadership skills by taking an active role in local clubs and community initiatives. When she isn’t training, her perfect summer evening is a peaceful one—sitting on the porch in 73° weather, enjoying a sunset and a light breeze while doodling.

Fans at the NIU Soccer Stadium can expect MT to be the engine of the team once again. She’s ready to control the field and serve as the essential connection between the defense and the attack.
