Kyra Lilly is joining DeKalb County United, and the future is looking bright in the middle of the park.

A Kaneland High School center midfielder from Maple Park, Lilly chose DKCU because of the fun, competitive environment that pushes players to be their best while still enjoying the game. That balance matters to her, and it shows in the way she plays. Recently committed to Lake Forest College, Kyra is using this summer to sharpen her game and prepare for the next level, and DKCU is the perfect place to do it.
When asked about her biggest influence, Kyra points to Dan Carl, the coach who helped her gain confidence and grow not just as a player, but as a person. That kind of mentorship sticks with you, and it's clear Kyra carries those lessons with her every time she steps on the field. Committing to Lake Forest remains a moment she'll never forget, a milestone that represents all the hard work and dedication she's put into this journey.
Fans can expect a center mid who competes hard, plays smart, and brings energy to every game and training session. Travis Porter ready, Lake Forest bound, let's go. Welcome to DKCU, Kyra.
