On June 11, 2025, DKCU founder and all-around community force Jenny Hall officially graduated from the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy — a program designed to empower local leaders to make a lasting impact in our community.

Jenny didn’t just attend — she delivered. As part of the program, she helped create and launch the Community Cleat Closet, a project that aims to ensure every kid who wants to play soccer has access to the gear they need. Gently used cleats and soccer shoes will now find new homes with players in our academy and community programs, lowering barriers and raising participation.
She was joined at the graduation ceremony by three fellow DKCU board members — John Hall, Ramneek Chitkara, and Eric Huerta — who cheered her on as she crossed the finish line of yet another meaningful milestone.
We’re proud of Jenny’s achievement and even prouder of what it means for the families of DeKalb County. The Community Cleat Closet is open — and this is just the beginning.
