Let’s talk defenders. Gritty. Versatile. Calm under pressure. The kind of player who’ll win you games and win over the fans. Now imagine one with a Liverpool badge on his heart and Coke in his hand—meet Jake Walker, the latest baller to suit up for DKCU in 2025.

Jake’s a 19-year-old center/outside back from Fox Mill, sharpening his craft at Gustavus Adolphus College. Whether he’s locking down the flanks or sweeping up danger in the middle, Jake brings the kind of all-action defending that makes highlight reels—and opposing strikers nervous.
But he’s not just a player. He’s a person who gets it.
Why DKCU? One word: Community.
Jake told us he was drawn to our club because of what it means to DeKalb County—not just what happens on the field. That mindset fits us like a perfectly weighted through ball.
When he’s not breaking up attacks, Jake dreams of visiting Japan, throws down at big parties, and chooses ambition over comfort every time. (Also: he’s firmly Team Coke, in case that’s a deal-breaker.)
What really hits home? When asked what will matter most when he’s 80, he didn’t hesitate: Family.
So yeah, we think Jake’s gonna fit in just fine.
Let’s make some noise this summer. The kid from Fox Mill is ready to walk the walk.
