A homegrown talent and DeKalb High School alum, Jake brings collegiate experience from his time at Minot State to the NIU Soccer Stadium. For Jake, the reason for signing was clear: DKCU is the best place to play high-level, competitive soccer while representing his community.

Jake is a classic "no-nonsense" defender who credits his growth to his father, who taught him everything he knows about the game and life. That foundation has helped him evolve into a successful, independent player who isn't afraid to put in the hard yards. If you followed him for a day, the only thing that might surprise you more than his defensive positioning is the sheer size of the meals he consumes to stay fueled!

"My dad has had the biggest influence on me," Jake shared. "He taught me everything and helped me grow into the man I am today."

When the boots are off and the sun is setting, Jake’s perfect summer evening looks a little different than a 90-minute shift. You’ll likely find him on the golf course with the boys, enjoying a round and a few cold ones. But come match day, he’s all business. United fans can expect a summer defined by pure hard work and an relentless competitive edge from the local CB.

Welcome to the club, Jake!
