Hey DeKalb County!

You know we love bringing the beautiful game to our community, and last week, we got to take the pitch to a whole new level: the classroom! Our awesome staff hit up Career Day at Jefferson Elementary right here in DeKalb, sharing what it takes to succeed both on and off the field.
It was seriously cool. We chatted with the kiddos about how subjects like math and science (think angles for shots, physics for ball movement!) are super important for being a top-notch player. But it wasn't just about the kicks and goals. We also talked about the real MVP skills: self-discipline, teamwork, and never giving up. These are the things that build champions, whether you're scoring goals or acing a test!
The energy was electric, and it was clear these kids have big dreams. We loved seeing their eyes light up as they heard about what it means to play soccer at a high level and how their hard work now can set them up for success later. Moments like these are why we do what we do – building connections and inspiring the next generation of DeKalb County stars!

Looking Ahead:
Our mission at DKCU is bigger than just winning games; it's about building a stronger, more connected DeKalb County through the power of soccer. Keep an eye out for our next home match or community event – we'd love to see you there! Follow us on social media so you don't miss a beat. Let's keep building something special together!
