A familiar name to anyone following local sports, the Sycamore High School star and 2025 Daily Chronicle Player of the Year is staying right here in DeKalb County to pull on the green and yellow.

Gavin, a dangerous Left Wing with a clinical eye for the net, is coming off a senior season where he racked up an incredible 29 goals. He’s no stranger to big moments, citing his favorite soccer memory as beating DeKalb during his senior year. Now, he’s ready to represent the entire county on a bigger stage.

For Gavin, joining United was an easy choice because the club "feels like home" and maintains such a strong community connection.

"My mom has had the biggest influence on me. She always pushes me to be better."

That internal drive is keeping him busy this off-season; when he isn’t on the pitch, he’s hitting the gym to ensure he's in peak physical shape for his debut with the Annies.

When the boots are off, you can find Gavin chilling with friends or playing a round of poker. But come match day, he has one specific thing in mind for the fans at the NIU Soccer Stadium: "Goals."

We are buzzing to have Gavin’s energy and local pride on the roster. Welcome to the club, Gavin!
