HUERTA YA GOING? Nah, She’s Back! Welcome Back, Erica Huerta DKCU Board Member

If you've ever seen a DKCU match and thought, Wow, these people really have their act together, you probably have Erica Huerta to thank. We’re over the moon (and maybe a little bit full of protein powder) to announce that Erica Huerta is returning to the DKCU board for the 2025 season!

In the real world, Erica keeps things financially sharp as an Investments and Planning Associate at FNBO, but on our turf, she’s a passionate supporter, strategic thinker, and corn-loving superfan. This year, she’s back to help guide our community-driven chaos and keep the Annie train rolling.

We asked Erica a few vital life questions, and the results were as legendary as a last-minute winner in front of the cornfields:

• Last thing she bought online: Protein powder. Gains.

• Bedroom wall icons: Shakira, Christina Aguilera, and Chivas de Guadalajara (imagine that power trio).

• Unfulfilled childhood dream: Going to summer camp after watching The Parent Trap. (We’re gonna say DKCU matchdays are basically grown-up camp, right?)

• Favorite team besides us: Chivas (but we’ll let it slide).

• Biggest goal in life: At 80? A healthy, happy family. That’s the real trophy.

• Guilty pleasure movie: The Big Short. (Look, we can’t explain it, but respect.)

• Most excited for this season: Watching some beautiful soccer. You and us both, Erica.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Erica Huerta DKCU as part of our leadership team again this season. Her passion, community love, and soccer smarts make her an irreplaceable part of our club.
