Brigid Gannon DKCU Signing: Local Star Forward Joins the Annies

DKCU is fired up to welcome Brigid Gannon to the club for the 2025 season! A Kaneland High School graduate and hometown hero from Virgil, Brigid is bringing her fierce energy and local pride to the front line of the Annies’ attack.

You might know her as Bridge. Or Brigy. Or Birdie. (Honestly, just yell “GOOOAALLL” and she’ll answer.)

Why DKCU?

In her words, “Coach Dan.” Enough said.

She’s got big dreams (hello, World Cup), a bucket list that involves deep sea fishing (sharks beware), and a heart rooted in keeping her friends and family happy and healthy — even when she’s launching rockets at goal.

Brigid chose ambition over comfort. Health food over fast food. Small gatherings over big parties. (But don’t let that fool you — she’s bringing the heat on the field.)

Oh, and for the record: Coke over Pepsi. Bold choice. We respect it.
