The Annies’ attacking depth is reaching a new level for the 2026 campaign. DeKalb County United is thrilled to officially welcome Naperville native and Dominican University standout Sierra Rioux to the senior squad.

Sierra joins the United with a reputation for sharp movement and a high soccer IQ, traits honed during her collegiate career with the Dominican Stars. While her talent on the pitch is undeniable, it was the culture off the pitch that drew her to DeKalb. For Sierra, finding a team that felt like a family was the top priority.
"I chose DKCU because of the close-knit community and supportive coaching staff," Sierra shared. This focus on strong foundations is a theme in Sierra’s life; she credits her mother and father as her biggest influences, providing the support system that has allowed her to excel at the collegiate level.

Fans at the NIU Soccer Stadium can expect to see a forward who isn't afraid to take on defenders and create scoring opportunities from nothing. Sierra brings a blend of pace and poise that will be vital as the Annies look to climb the table this summer. When she isn't terrorizing backlines, she draws inspiration from powerful, independent anthems that match her determined presence on the ball.
Welcome to the United, Sierra!
