Cortni Kruizenga returns to DeKalb County United, bringing academy roots, Elmhurst University sharpness, and a striker's mentality to the attack.

A Sycamore native now playing at Elmhurst University, Kruizenga grew up in the DKCU academy and knows exactly what this club can do for her development. She's back because she believes in the coaching, the competition, and the opportunity to keep getting better alongside teammates who push her every single day. That foundation runs deep, and it shows in the way she plays.

If there's one moment Cortni will never forget, it's her junior year at Sycamore High School when she scored the only goal against DeKalb in El Classicorn, sealing the win for the Spartans. That's the kind of clutch mentality she brings to every match, the ability to show up when it matters most and deliver. Off the pitch, you'll find her poolside or at the beach with a book in hand, recharging for the next battle.

Fans can expect a striker who knows how to finish, competes with fire, and plays with the kind of hometown pride that makes DKCU special. Guac fueled, BigXthePlug ready, let's get it. Welcome back, Cortni.
