We believe that the only thing standing between a kid and the pitch should be a chalk line—not a price tag. That’s why DKCU is back with our Community Cleat Closet, ensuring every young player in DeKalb County is ready to run, kick, and score this season.

We’re turning the high school into the ultimate locker room for one morning only. Whether you’re looking for your child’s first pair of studs or looking to pay it forward, here is everything you need to know:
When: Sunday, April 12th, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Where: DeKalb High School, DeKalb, IL
The Deal: FREE cleats for any child in need. No catch, no paperwork, no stress. Just show up and find your fit!
How to Help: Have a pair of cleats that are gathering dust? We are accepting new or gently used cleats (all sports and sizes!) and gift cards to help us fill the gaps in our inventory. Drop-offs happen right at the school during the event.
Spread the word, tag a neighbor, and let’s make sure no kid is left on the sidelines this year.
