Meet Ashley Murcia: DKCU’s Board Member with a Heart for Community

It’s not every day that one of your biggest fans joins the board — but that’s exactly what’s happened at DKCU, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce Ashley Murcia, our newest Board Member!

Ashley wears many hats: Communications & Community Engagement Manager, full-time mom, and now, part of the team helping guide DKCU forward. She's spent years rooting for the club from the stands, and this season, she's stepped up to help shape our future off the pitch.

With a passion for people and a real knack for bringing communities together,

Ashley is jumping in to help more folks across DeKalb discover what makes DKCU such a special part of summer. She’s especially looking forward to building stronger local connections and making our matchdays even more welcoming and fun for families.

Need a fun fact? Ashley once had posters of Andre Agassi and New Kids on the Block on her wall (elite 90s combo), went to Space Camp as a kid, and recently ordered a very large bottle of hot sauce online. Relatable? We think so.

When she’s not helping DKCU grow or cheering on her kid’s AYSO team, you’ll probably find Ashley rewatching Pitch Perfect or You’ve Got Mail, and dreaming about a future where her life’s work makes a difference.
